Sugar Dolomite

Sugar Dolomite is a carbonate rock composed of dolomite (CaMg(CO₃)₂). It is characterized by a granular, powdered sugar-like texture of fine, intertwined crystals. It is most commonly white to light gray in color, but may have yellowish or pinkish hues due to impurities. It is usually formed by the dolomitization of limestone, which involves recrystallization and the erasure of the original sedimentary structures.

Pyrite

Pyrite comes in several forms, differing in the shape of the crystals and in colour, which can be silver, gold or brassy or brownish. The best known and most common forms of pyrite crystals are hexahedral and fine-grained.
