Scolecite in Basalt

Skolecite is a type of Zeolite most commonly found in Basalt cracks and cavities or in other volcanic rocks. It grows in thin and elongated crystals and its colours range from transparent to white, sometimes with slight shades of pink or green. Most commonly found is in India, Australia and Iceland.
