Hematoid Quartz, also known as Ferruginous Quartz, is a powerful combination of Clear Quartz and Hematite. The presence of iron oxide (hematite or limonite) creates its distinct yellow, orange, or deep red hues, often appearing as internal "starbursts" or delicate veils. Chemically, it is a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, making it both beautiful and highly durable. The red varieties are often called Fire Quartz, while the yellow or golden ones are sometimes referred to as Golden Healer.
