Clear Quartz

To give Crackle Quartz its magical look, it needs a little help. It is created when a high quality stone shot is heated vigorously and then cooled rapidly in e.g. cold water. Under the shock of the rapid temperature changes, its interior turns into a network of smaller and larger cracks, in which thousands of tiny rainbows get trapped. Despite its new look, its essence remains the same.

Clear Quartz, also known as Rock Crystal, is a colourless to white version of quartz and is one of the most common and widespread minerals in the world. It can grow as an individual crystal, as a druzy (geode), cluster or as an inclusion in another rocks, minerals or crystals. It usually forms hexagonal prismatic crystals with well-defined faces and edges. Clear Quartz is used for its properties in many industrial and commercial applications. It is used in electronics, optics (for lenses, fibres, spectroscopic equipment), and in the manufacture of clocks, it is a popular substitute for diamond among jewellery makers.

Metaphysical properties

Clear quartz's metaphysical properties are also versatile, so it can be used for almost anything, making it a universal crystal. It is an energy amplifier, including the energy of other crystals or, for example, the energy of our manifestation.
